Our Story

Bokee's Diner65 is a family-run diner located in the heart of Youghal, County Cork. While our current diner may be small, our family's experience in hospitality goes back many years.

In 2009, we opened our café and restaurant in The Rivergate Mall, where we proudly served the local community and visitors for over 15 years. During those years we built lasting relationships with our customers, many of whom became friends. We loved being part of their daily routines, celebrating special occasions, and providing a welcoming place where everyone felt at home.

As the years passed, we realised that running a large and extremely busy restaurant seven days a week required long hours and a demanding lifestyle. After reaching our 50s, we decided it was time for a new chapter—one that would allow us to continue doing what we love while maintaining a better balance for our family.

That's how Bokee's Diner65 was born. In Early 2025 We moved into a smaller, more manageable diner, but we brought with us the same values that made our previous business so successful: freshly prepared food, quality ingredients, friendly service, and genuine care for every customer who walks through the door.

Many of our customers from Rivergate still visit us today. If you enjoyed the atmosphere and service we provided there, we would love to see you again. Don't be surprised if we still remember your favourite meal, your usual coffee order, or even ask if you'd like your regular before you've had a chance to say it. We believe these personal touches are what make a local family business truly special.

Bokee's Diner65 is a family-friendly diner located at 65 North Main Street, Youghal, County Cork. We serve breakfasts all day, freshly prepared sandwiches, paninis, burgers, grilled chicken fillet,coffee, tea, soft serve ice cream, milkshakes and iced lattes.

Whether you're joining us for breakfast, brunch or lunch, you'll always find freshly prepared food made to order. We serve traditional Irish breakfasts anytime, breakfast muffins, breakfast bagels, omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon and eggs, toasties, freshly made sandwiches, paninis, burgers and our popular Hangover Special. Alongside our food we offer barista coffee, tea, iced lattes more than 15 flavours, thick milkshakes, soft serve ice creams /99/, ice cream sundeas, desserts including apple crumble, and a selection of sweet treats.
We welcome customers who wish to dine in, take away, or order ahead for collection by phone.
During the warmer months our covered outdoor terrace is also available for private gatherings of up to 20 guests, with barbecue options and special function menu.
